On November 13, 2007, the Montana Supreme Court issued an Order requesting comments regarding the Uniform District Court Rules Commission’s proposed amendments to the UDCR. The comment period runs for 90 days. The proposed amendments are attached to the Order requesting comments.

The Montana Supreme Court has issued an Order regarding appeals improperly filed pursuant to Montana Rule of Civil Procedure 54(b), which enables a trial judge to enter a final judgment as to fewer than all claims in a multi-claim or multi-party action.

The Montana Supreme Court has issued an Order delaying implementation of the Court’s new Privacy and Public Access to Court Records Rules until July 1, 2008. The Court has also requested additional comments regarding the implementation of the rules.
